They did not make us feel embarrassed due to the poor condition of the property. We were referred to them by one of our neighbors, who had mentioned that the couple both spoke Spanish; which was an important component for us. Let me start by saying that I am not the best when it comes to trusting people that I have just met. Although Sebastian and Salud (S & S) were referred to me from a very trusted friend, the first time I got on a call with Sebastian, I had my uncle (an experienced home buyer) on the phone in case I was being misled in any way. Sebastian was very honest, professional, and informative from the first meeting even presenting us with a PowerPoint presentation that walked us through the entire home buying process. After the call, my uncle had two things to say about Sebastian, âthis guy knows this stuffâ and âyou are in great hands.â My uncle was 100% correct. Throughout the course of the next 3 to 4 months, I must have text S & S several questions daily. We were very picky on what kind of home we wanted and on the location. We also wanted a somewhat fixer but since this was our first home, we didnât want to take on a huge project. Even though we were almost sure we didnât want to buy a condo S & S met us at a condo just to make sure we could cross condos off our list. In total we saw about 12 houses with them. Some late at night to work around my work scheduled and others early on weekends. There was one weekend that Sebastian made time for us before heading to a wedding. He came dressed up for the wedding and still made time to show us the home without making us feel pressured on time. S & S didnât go the extra mile he went the extra marathon. There were some houses that they knew before seeing them that we werenât going to buy but they wanted us to see the different stages of a fixer. It almost felt like were taking a house flipping course with the amount of great info they would share with us and the amount of time they put into helping us find the perfect home. A few times Sebastian even sent us layouts and would tell us what renovations we could make, how much it would cost, and how much value it would add to our property. Thanks too S & Sâs advice we had our second offer accepted. Which in todayâs competitive market, having your second offer accepted is pretty amazing. Even when escrow started, S & S prepared us mentally through the stress we were about to go through. Almost every day they would text us a status update and tell us how far we were from the finish line. While in escrow Sebastian asked me to trust him on a situation/decision that I was a little hesitant about. I went against my gut, trusted him and it ended up saving us $6,500. We have now owned the home for just over a month and I still text them with questions regarding renovations and they continue helping us. Just overall great amazing real estate agents, people, and now friends. A 5 out of 5 ratting doesnât do S & S the actual justice they deserve. I wish there was a way to give extra credit cause Iâm positive these two outshine other 5-star agents out there. Thatâs how good they truly are. They go above and beyond to help their clients. They are well informed and just very good honest people. They are not your typical salesperson who will force u into a deal just do that they can make their commission and I really appreciated that about them.
