We at Our San Gabriel Valley are excited to introduce our “Kicks for Kids” project!
This idea stems back to almost 27 years ago when I (Sebastian) was a kid in the 4th grade and the Pasadena public school system had a program in place that gave specific families new clothes and shoes. I was one of the kids that benefited from that program and I remember feeling so excited to wear my new shoes! The shoes helped to improve my self-esteem and helped me fit in with the other kids.
It is our turn to give back! Every time we help a family buy, sell, or invest in real estate, we will gift a pair of new soccer cleats to a deserving soccer superstar in our community of San Gabriel Valley!
Having played soccer all of my life, two of the most exciting times in soccer are: 1. When you score a goal, and 2. The day you get new soccer shoes! It’s an indescribable feeling and one that we want many kids to experience.
We hope that this program can morph into much more in the future and we are able to do more towards these children’s education, soccer life, and future. This is just the beginning of a beautiful journey for us. We hope that you can support our efforts and share our story and mission with people in your circle so that we can continue to bring value to our San Gabriel Valley community.
For now you can help our efforts by sharing this program and by letting people you know that we are here to help them with any of their real estate needs. The more families we help, the more we can do for our community, and the more we can support our local soccer kids.

Who we are looking for:
- Kids under 18 yrs of age.
- Kids that are playing AYSO, community soccer leagues, club soccer, or school teams.
- Kids that are showing growth and progress in the soccer field as well as outside the field.
- Respectful kids, with a strong academic work ethic and great students of the game!

We’re Salud and Sebastian Marroquin, a married couple and lifestyle bloggers who live and work in the dynamic community of San Gabriel Valley, CA & surrounding areas.
