As realtors we see A LOT of houses. Like a ton.
And today, we wanted to share some paint color scheme trends we’ve noticed are trending NOW:
Dark Neutrals
The new neutral is being redefined to include more pigmented and bold hues such as black or navy! To achieve the look, accent a black wall with wood or beige furniture, plants and fun light fixtures!
Beige
Beige is replacing grey as the go-to color, especially in investor flips. Soft and soothing on the eye, beige pairs nicely with natural wood, black and white furniture for a classic and sophisticated neutral look. It also lends itself to the Bohemian home decor style that is heavily trending right now.
Olive Green
If color trends really are influenced by the world around us, then it makes sense that olive green, associated with wellness and nature, is experiencing a spike in popularity. Introducing serene green colors to your home, particularly olive, helps to create a calming space reminiscent of the outdoors.
Warm Tones
Goodbye, cool colors and hello, warmth and saturated vibes. If you’re after a warm and welcoming aesthetic with plenty of personality, hues like yellow, beige and champagne seem to be a more popular choice lately.
Ultimately, there is no right or wrong and picking and choosing what feels good to you is where it’s at. What are your favorite color schemes?
